A "Hello" to the Lolands

I was surten i had uploaded this piture, sorry love! Well, here they are, my beloved almost sisters. From left, Lise, May and Elin. We come from the same "hood" in Lyngdal. I first got to know Elin, since we're the same age. My first memories of her involves a grey kitten and lots of candy, being a great fan of both cats and candy, we imideatly connected. I think i was about five when i first payed visit to number 51, and ever since we've just grown closer and i do consider them my family.

Yes, Merry Chritmas!! After all, we are almost mid-october!
I truly hope that all of you agree with me that this is way TOO EARLY! It's been like this for two weeks already!
This picture is taken at Marks & Spencer's in Hounslow. I was there on Tuesday with Anne Marie and i just had to take a picture, to show the insanity! Two weeks ago i passed one of those scary little Santas going: "Merry Christimas", next to him was Rudoplf the Reindeer singing christmas carols, I'm not ready for this!! I don't know how it's in Norway right now, but please tell me we're not as crazy as the Englishmen.

Upgrade!

Hello friends! As you see on the left side i have got a new message thing! My dear Anne Marie helped me with it just now. Now you don't have to enter the "comments" thing to leave me a message, great or what?

To all my dear readers, THANKS for leaving comments!!!!! It makes me wanna write every day! But, as you probably know my access to internet isn't much to brag about..

Right now i'm at Anne Marie's place (check out her blog! Link on the left). I'm being a bit unsocial but i'll find a way to make it up to her:) The last days has just passed without any big happenings really.. Hmm, but there is probably something i should mention.. Oh, the youths in St. Pauls had the service on Sunday, it went really well!

Hopefully I'll get some more internet time tomorrow, i'll try to write something interesting, hehe:)

More about the wedding!

It wasn't just the wedding that was great about this going to Norway thing, it was all about the people! This fabulous picture is me and Karianne. We were in Madgascar together in the autumn last year. She practically lived in my flat for the entire time she was there, about four months. We had a great time together, and it was so much fun meeting her again. I spent one night at her place, since we went together to the wedding, thanks Karianne!

This is Toky and Kristin. Kristin was a volunteer at Madgascar the year before me and Sindre. She didn't just fell in love with the country, hehe:) She and Toky has been a couple for about a year and a half now, maybe a bit more, they're so qute! Toky is in Norway this year, at Birkeland Folehoeyskole (s school). I went on a surprise visit to him right before going to England, he's so cool. We spent some time together at Madgascar since he was the pianist in the choir.
Toky had a special present for Elin and Sindre, he had written a song wich he playes performed on the party. That is what io call a nice gift. After that we, meaning the youth that have been to Madgascar, got up and sang two Malagasy songs. Sindre on piano and Toky on drums, we really rocked the place, hehe!

I also met some people i hadn't planned on meeting, wich made it even better! These lovely girls are Svanhild (sitting) and Elli. They've lived at Madagascar for two years. It was great meeting them again, i really feel that they're my little sisters. I miss hanging out with them. I met two other families as well that i met in Mada, it was fantastic meeting all those people again!

Happely ever after

Finally i get to show you the pictures from the wedding! This happened almost two weeks ago, it was fantastic! This is after the service in the church, outside the place where the party was.


Here comes the bride, lalalala! She was so beautiful! She got the upper part of her dress made in Madagascar, the rest of her is made by herself and her mum. I must admit i find that quite impressive, and what a result!





This is when they get the blessing, man and wife, for ever and ever, wow! There was hardly a dry eye in during the exchanging of woes that was followed by a wounderful piece on the piano. The whole service was just fantastic. Music played a big part in the servics, as it does in their lives. A good friend of them sang "Songbird" by Eva Cassidy, again eyes filled with tears. The youth choir lead by Sindre and Elin a year ago also contributed with two songs. The entire thing was ended by a piece on organ and guitar, really original and suiting for the newlyweds.

The dinner and the rest of the evening was at Rennesoey. It was quite an old building and the entire place was lit up by loads of candles, it was so romantic! And then you got all the wonderful speeches, yes, it surely was a day to remember.

CONGRATULATIONS Elin og Sindre!!!!! Miss you a lot, God bless!

Grrr!

Ok, here I am in church, got up early for one reason only; to update my blog, put out nice pictures from the fairytale wedding and so on, but it ain't gonna happen.. The reason is I forgot my wire, the wire that connects the camera and the computer..

A quick note

Hello friends!
In case you're wondering, I'm still alive and well! There has been a week with no updating, sorry about that. Because of a fantastic trip to Norway and no internet connection, i've had no chance to tell you about my exiting life in one of the world's most interesting cities! But, on monday i'll be back in the game, hopefully!

Open House

Every day of the week St.Paul's has a cafe that is open to everyone. A lot of people come here to have their lunch, both old and young. The cooks are great and the food is fantastisc, this I know because we get the leftovers:)
Miko and I do two things. Either we work behind the counter serving food, or we just sit with poeple and talk, we are "open ears" as they call it. It is nice and an oppertunity to meet a lot of fantastic people.

Well, it's weekend and I'm going home. Hopefully I'll tell you more on Monday!

A night on the town

We in the team have different "days off", Miko and I don't work on fridays. Hildegunn has also the day off then, so we usually hang together then. On saturdays we get the day off if there's nothing special happening. This saturday there was nothing going on, so we went to Central London. We were five girls and went to a lot of different places. We went to Kensington, Notting Hill, Portebello Road,Covent Garden +++
During the day we came up with the idea of going to a musical. We searched for some pretty cheap tickets, found them, bought them and went! We saw "Footloose", it was awsame!!! It was my first real musical, and i truly loved it! The music, the actors, the stage and lightening, and offcouse the dancing, WOW! We went dancing out of there full of energy when it was finished.
Now I'll start saving up for a new one. I hear "Dirty Dancing" is on it's way, anyone jelaous?

just talk

Now i'm sitting at an internett cafe in Hesteon, that's where i live. It is really close to the airport, i see big planes crossing over ny head every day. I think it's quite facinating staring uo at those big heavy things and knowing that the are flying! If thay can get those things in the air, why can't thay find a way for us to fly? The thing is that when i walk to my bus stop and a plane is crossing over, my eyes goes up and i think "wow". The problem then is that you don't look where you're going. I must admit i have cvome quite close to some very embaressing falls and crashes. Ooops, i'm out of time!

A taste of Nature

Sometimes it's hard for a non-city girl like me to handle all the traffic and people. What do I do then? Answer; you find a park! Luckely there's quite few parks around the area, and this is pictures taken from the one closest to me. I needed some peace and quite, and I found it. After a while of peace and some playing with the camera i went home. But, it was a good pause from the world.
By the way. I live close to heathrom, the airport. There's a huge ammount of planes over our head during the day. I didn't see the plane on the picture until i got back home. Nice eeh?


Just so you won't forget me:) I LOVE digital cameras!

Getting around

I don't live very close to work, I'm actually the volunteer with the longest way, unfear! But, i don't complain, it's not like it's that far, pluss, i've got a bike! This splendid thing gets me to work and everywhere i wan't to go. And, if the weather is bad or I just feel lazy, you've always got the red buses. Today was the first time i went by bus, and i must say it's quicker by bike. So, as long as the sun is shining I'll be quite sporty:)

The Brentford Team

Well, here we are; Team Brentford! All inn all we are a team of seven, but we are split into pairs. So, Miko and I work together in the Parish of Brentford. The parish has two churches, St.Pauls's and St.Faith's. It is at St.Pauls that the center is and where we go "to work". On Sundays I will go to St.Faith's, while Miko will be at St.Paul's. We'll be included in the Sunday school programme, so that will be exiting.
This is from last weekend when we were presented to the congregation at St.Paul's. Yesterday we did the same at St.Faith's.




This is a picture of Kjetil Aano and Miko, taken last Sunday after church. He came to meet with ous bosses and to meet us, we had a nice day as you can see. It was lovely weather and we went to a marked where the church had a stand. There was live music so we just sat ack and enjoyed the day.

Tourists

Big Ben! Isn't it great! The first days, from Wednesday to Friday we lived at the Indian YMCA in Central London. We were taken hand of by the CMS (Church Mission Society) witch had some cultural briefing with us. They taught us english table manners and other usefull things you need to survive in this city. No, I'm just kidding, we learnt a lot of things and they also showed us around town and in the Tube system. It was a really good start of wht will be a fantastic year!




Isn't it beautiful? We found this at Covent Garden. We were really spellbound by all the lights and the wounderfull music, maybe that explains the next picture, hehe:)

London by night. Since it's the first time for me to visit this big city, the red busses made an impression. When I think of London I think of red busses, so i just had to take some pictires of them.




Finally, this is me and Vidar sitting on the top and in the front of a red bus for the first time, cool? Yes, it was for us!

Here you can see a picture of the entire team, the London Team. We norwegians met this summer, while Miko and Rada first met ut last week. I must admit, it makes me really proud to be in a gang of such great people!

Coming here

This is me and my dad right before I left the country. He was the one that drove me to the airport and bid me farewell. Thanks dad!

The whole thing went without any problems, at least for me. I flew to Oslo where i met the other norwegians and Miko from Estonia, the guy I work with here in Brentford. I'll tell you more about him later. On the flight to London we were all very exited, luckely it's a short trip. I sat next ta an exiting man that travels around the world, so that made the trip a lot more interesting.
This is Torgeir and Merete. This is right before we found out that Vidar's luggage never made it to London, poor guy! After talking to British Airways we could finally move on to find our last team member, Rada from Croatia.

This is Vidar and Anne Marie. They work together in The Holy Trinity Church in Hounslow, great people! There was something wrong with the tube, so we had to go by bus for a while.






This is picture from the tube. Usually it's crowded, but not on this pidture. We take the tube to get around central London. Believe it or not, I'm strarting to understand how to use it!!

News on it's way!

I'm sorry for the non-active days, it's just that i haven't had internett. So, it's really not my fault. But fear not! Today and tomorrow I'll put in new pictures and fun stuff from my first week in London. See ya!

Those last stressful days

Right now my room is still pretty messy and for the untrained eye it might look like I’ll miss the plane tomorrow. But, no worries, I’ll make it:)
After my stressful but very cosy days in Oslo, I headed to Kristiansand for some more goodbyes. My best friends are studying there, so a stop was very necessary. We had some great days together, just like in the good old times.

On the Saturday I went up to Birkeland Folkehøyskole where a friend of mine from Madagascar studies this year. He had no idea that I was coming, so he was very surprised to see me standing in the door. We both got so happy and started to talk in Malagasy without thinking about the crowd listening, it was very funny. We spent the day together, and I took him and his roomies from Peru and Taiwan out for a tour in Kristiansand. The rest of the day I met all his friends, and we sat outside the school in the sun playing guitar and singing, it was really a fantastic day.

Yesterday was an exiting day in my life. First I bought a new camera, HAPPY! I haven’t had a camera since mine was stolen at Easter this year. I am very pleased with my new Canon camera and can’t wait to fill up my memory card with London’s many tourist attractions!
The other thing that happened was that I finally got a haircut. My parents told me it was about time and sent me away. I must admit, there was absolutely room for renewing.

Well, now I’m off to say goodbye to some more people and then just make the finishing touch on my luggage before I’ll be in my way.
So, next time you’ll hear from me I’ll be in London!!!!!!

Oslo

These last couple of days I’ve been in Oslo. After spending five and a half boring hours on the train, I could finally see my friend Marit waiting for me. We studied together at the bible school.
It was great being in Oslo again, it’s a bit more interesting than my home town. I think there is about 530 000 people living in Oslo. If you compare it to Lyngdal’s 7500, then you might understand that to me it’s a big adventure just walking up and down the main street. And yes I’m moving to London, he he:) How will I survive?
My mission was just to find as many of my friends from school as possible, say “hello”, “good luck” and then “See you next year!” Lucky me found a bunch of people and had some great days!

I think that one of the most entertaining things to do in a big city is watching people. Just sit at a café or a bench and looking at people stressing, walking or even running past you. I like guessing their thoughts and what they work with and stuff, it’s so much fun!

I’ve been to Oslo a couple of times, but I have no idea where stuff are or how to get to different places. This time I had to get around on my own a lot, since everyone started their studies this week. I was a bit nervous the first times, but I made it! Off course I made some mistakes like taking the wrong bus and things like that, but nothing serious.

To all the cool people I met, I’LL MISS YOU!! But, I know you check this site and we’ll stay in touch.

Oslo, here I come!

Today I had my last early morning, my last lunch break and best of all, my last day at work!!! As a miracle I left dry and in good shape. I have been waiting all day for a major water attack by some people. We've had a little combat going on this summer, and yesterday I really showed them, or mostly one guy, the real me. So, I must admit I was a bit nervous walking outside the safe wear house wall’s:)

Both I and my co-worker, Laila, brought something extra for lunch and the coffee break. It’s a good tradition.
A lot of people have stopped by to say "good luck" and "see you next year!" I think they are satisfied with me and my work, so my chances of getting a job next year looks good.

So, tomorrow I pack my bags and set out to the big capital, Oslo! Most of my friends are there to study, so it's really a necessary stop before leaving the country for one more year. It will also be my only vacation this summer, and I'm planning on spending it good. Off course it will be, since I will see a lot of people that I haven't seen for a year of two, exited? Yes I am!!!
If you find my bubble a bit dead the next few days, you know why. Just fill it with comments:) I'll be returning on Wednesday, after that it's packing and so much more to do. I think I might be a bit stressed out the last couple of days, but it's always like that.

My girls

These girls are two out of the three fantastic girls, that lived at the boarding house on the Norwegian school at Madgascar. That was were I worked, and it was great! We got that family feeling and I felt I got three younger sisters.
They were at a camp nearby a week ago and lucky me got to see them again. Martha stayed at my house a couple of days, i loved hanging with her again. I miss them very much but I know we'll stay in touch. Love you girls!

Shakespeare

As some of you might remember me and some others had a period where Shakespeare was all we talked about. Sitting here I suddenly remembered a quote, but I don't remember where it's from. It goes like this:

"Take him and cut him out in little stars,
And he will make the face of heaven so fine,
That all the world will be in love with night
and pay no worship to the garish sun"

If that's not a compliment then I don't know what is:)

Mondays...

There are those days when you just wish you had never gotten out of bed. Days when problems are all you see and they just keep popping up wherever you turn. At the same time your mood just sinks like a stone in water. Well, that is how my day has been, lovely! After a night of terrible sleep and lots of really slow going trailers on the road to work, I just knew I was in for a blast. You see, today they needed me back in the "sweeping" car. I was a bit happy since I thought it would be nice to get out of the wear house for a little while. To make a long story short, I really made a mess, hehe:) It ended with me driving it full, in the way that it won't tip (there’s a big box which fills up with dust, to empty it you tip it). That’s a bit embarrassing, and off course everyone noticed. Especially when as a girl you’re a part of the absolute minority. On the top of that one of the tires punctured. If I look at the positive side I made a lot of people smile today and all in all that’s good. I like putting a smile on people's faces!

Now I've had dinner, a shower and even a little nap and things are looking much better. Hopefully people will be nice and forget all about it till tomorrow, but I must say I doubt it. These people won’t let you forget:)

Where will I live?

I thought that it would be fun to show you where I'll be living and working next year. I'll be working in the Parish of Brentford witch consists of two churches, St.Paul's and St.Faith's. Two days a go I had a long first talk to my host. Her name is Melanie Green and I can't wait to meet her in real life. I'm so exited about this!

Moving on

I was looking at some blogs and found this. This is all the missionaries that ended their period at Madagascar this year. I'm sitting on the roof of the car with Kristian on my lap.
Last week I met with the new volunteers and the volunteers that came home this summer. It was time for debriefing, saying goodbye and moving on. I've had a hard time "getting over" Madagascar and I probably never will. But, at the same time I'm so exited about London that I can't stop thinking about it!!

Just want to say to the people on the picture and the people that are still down there, I MISS YOU!! Thank you for a super year! Hopefully I'll see you soon:)

A taste of summer

It's sunday, tomorrow I'll be back at work. But I've had such a great weekend!! I just have to tell you about it.
On Friday I visited my friend Katrine on my way home from work. She works on a golf court. Lucky me got to try some balls on the new driving range. We talked about what to da later on. We met at about nine o’clock. Our adventure was to follow the river in our town all the way to the beach were it comes out. We used a small plastic boat, the sort you have to inflate. We had a great time; just floating down without using the oars. But, after an hour and a half we figured it was about time to start the “engines”. We spent nearly three hours, it was great!
Yesterday (Saturday) I went to the beach. It’s not like you see the sun a lot when you work inside a factory. After accomplishing a nice red colour I went home to wax the car. I usually do that every summer, I really had that great summer feeling! In the evening I read some in my book (a scary one) before cuddling up in the sofa letting myself be entertained by the TV.

Today we, meaning mum, dad and me, drove up to our cabin. It’s in a place called “Åseral”, or “Hamkoll” to be precise. It’s lovely nature, so I went for an hour hike up in the mountain. On the top there was lovely water, perfect to cool of in and off course I got to enjoy the sun.

My Job

As you all know I work at "Tinfos Jernverk". I never got to capture my cool "cleaning "car on camera, disappointing but true. To make it up to you I have this fabulous picture of me and my favourite hang-out place.

I've worked on the factory for four weeks, two more to go. After that one week of vacation followed by LONDON. You may say I'm a bit exited.
Since I'm such a nice person I've also uploaded this picture under, so that you can see the factory in all it's glory. I work in the right end of the narrow building opposite of the blue. That is the wearhouse, my place:)

Forandring fryder!

For de som har vært innom meg her noen ganger ser at det har skjedd noen forandringer! Jeg prøvde å mekke litt på den gamle, men jeg kan jo ingenting om det. Den ble stygg og rar og så fant jeg ut at jeg tar bare en helt annen. Synes jo det var litt gøy med en "extreme makeover", hehe:)

Jeg strever litt med å finne ut hvordan jeg skal få inn linkene, det kan nok ta noen dager. Det er ikke fordi jeg er veldig, veldig dårlig, men fordi jeg skal bort noen dager. Jeg skal på Åpta, skal fortelle de nye ettåringene som er der hele uka om Madagaskar. Men, siden jeg også er en "ny" ettåring, blir jeg litt lengre enn de andre gamle som kun skal være der to dager.

En annen ting, "NY" JOBB! Jeg er nå tilbake på lageret på Tinfos. Feiebilen har fått igjen sin trygge tilværelse med vant sjåfør, mens jeg sitter på lageret og teller skruer. Vel, jeg gjør da i grunnen ikke det hele tiden, men må man så må man:)

Så, siste tingen. Jeg tror jeg har nevnt for dere at jeg har planer om å starte å skirve på engelsk, vel, jeg vil det fra nå av. Skal ihvertfall forsøke!

For de som har kjent meg en stund er det et ikke et sjokk å høre at jeg ikke er så glad i snø. Joda, litt hvitt på trærne og en liten skitur (med kvikk lunch garanti) i året er helt greit, men jeg ELKSER sommeren. Derfor, ting jeg liker med sommeren!: (Jeg lager ikke en så veeeldig lang liste, bare noen få punkter:)

* mimring, det er jeg stor fan av

Det er så mye mye mer, men det var dette jeg kom på nå. Det kjipe er at sommerferie også betyr sommerjobb! Altså blir det ikke så mye tid til å nyte sommeren, men jeg prøver ihvertfall. Fortsatt, GOD SOMMER!

Maria og meg

 Her ser dere Maria og meg, du har sett bilde av oss før, men det ble tatt på Madagaskar. Dette bildet ble tatt på lørdag! Joda, hun er i Norge, det har hun vært siden slutten av mai. Hun bor i trondheim nå, men skal på en tur fra august til desember. Når hun da returnerer til Norge så flytter hun hit til landet og det er jeg veldig, veldig glad for:)

Hun har en bror som bor på Vanse (les: ikke så langt fra meg), så jeg fikk møte henne flere ganger da hun var på besøk hos ham og familien, det var helt konge! herlig å få praktiser litt gassisk igejn.
Det blir nok en stund til vi sees igjen, men ikke mer enn et år, heldigvis! 

Besøk av familie

Forrige uke hadde vi besøk av mine herlige tantebarn. Da var det bare å grave dypt etter ekstra energi etter lange dager på jobb. Bildet ble tatt på torsdag tror jeg, da var vi å bowlet og etter ble det selvfølgeli is!!! Må kanskje nevne at Adrian slo meg med 2 poeng, men det var så vidt.. (til mitt forsvar, han hadde grind på, hehe) Vi hadde det veldig gøy.
Så kom helga og da var det tid for å dra på STRANDA! Det er noe jeg savnet i Antsirabè, der var det ikke no strand nei. Vi dro tidlig på morgenen og mine kjære var ikke hjemme før i firetiden tror jeg. Jeg dro litt før dem, har ikke helt strandkondisen i toppform enda. Men, klarte da å få litt rødfarge på kroppen.

I tillegg til tantebarn har vi besøk av fire andre familiemedlemmer. Det er veldig koselig å få besøk, bare kjedelig at alt jeg tenker på når jeg kommer hjem er senga mi. Håper det går bedre denne uka, nå er jeg jo litt mer inni det.

Jeg, en feiemaskinsjåfør!

Jepp dere, det er sant! I dag startet jeg min karriere som feiemaskinsjåfør. Den skal da vare i to uker, hvis ikke jeg ødelegger så alt for mye da:)
Som de fleste vet jobber jeg på smelteverk hver sommer, i år er det ingen unntak. Men, i år er det ikke bare på lageret jeg skal få svette, i år skal jeg også få prøve meg på et av de mange store leketøyene. Hihi, jeg synes det er veldig morsomt da. Etter èn dags opplæring (altså i dag), skal jeg fra nå av kjøre rundt å gjøre verden til et renere sted, i like it!
Jeg har da altså vernesko, sånn blå og oransje bukse og jakke, hjelm, hansker og ikke minst vernebriller. Jeg lover deg, det er litt av et syn. Kjerra blir min i to uker, det verste er rengjøringa som jeg må gjøre på den hver dag. Jeg holdt meg tålig ren hele dagen helt til det var på tide å vaske gliset, da spruta søla over hele meg, herlig!!!! Jaja, da føler jeg at jeg har gjort litt hardt arbeid og passer litt bedre inn sammen med de barske mannfolka jeg henger med, jauda, finfint med sommerferie!

Sommer i Sør

Hei igjen alle dyrebare lesere!
Jeg har nå kommet hjem etter en ukes hardt, men utrolig givende arbeid. Normisjon har akkurat avviklet sitt årlige stevne Sommer i Sør, og der var jeg! Jeg var frivillig leirleder og det har vært en helt fantastisk uke! Forrige lørdag entret jeg min gamle bibelskole (Bibelskolen i Grimstad) for å gå løs på nye spennende oppgaver. Det var ikke så mye jeg visste, så jeg var en smule nervøs. Heldigvis viste det seg å være uten grunn:) Jeg fikk fort kontakt med de andre i lederteamet og vi fikk utrolig mye moro sammen.
Det som skjedde var at det er et stort stevne, en familieleir. Der kommer det da også selvfølgelig mange unger, og det er her jeg kommer inn. Samtidig, noen få dager før det hele var i gang, kom det 30 tenåringer for å gå på ledertreningskurs. De får undervisning, veiledning og under hele stevnet får de praksis. Det var utrolig spennende å følge med på de underveis. Jeg var med som veileder for en gruppe på fire tenåringer som igjen hadde ansvar for en gruppe på ca 30 4-6 åringer.
I tilleg til dette hadde jeg åtte bibeltimer i løpet av uka, alle ble holdt to ganger. Det var skummelt, men jeg fikk det til! Barna fulgte skikkelig bra med og lærte mye, så det var virkelig et av de mange høydepunktene i løpet av uke.

Ellers ble det jo uka fyllt av de vanlige leiraktivitetene: Bading, soling, lite søvn, mye latter, mye humor, fantastiske folk +++

Ja, jeg har bursdag!

I dag reiser jeg til Grimstad for først å besøke min fantastiske familie og for deretter å jobbe på SIS (Sommer i Sør) på Bibelskolen i Grimstad! Schnakkes!

Mine kjære tantebarn

Her ser dere jeg og tanteungene mine, Benedikte og Adrian, det var da jeg landet på søndag. De sto og ventet med norske flagg, tusen takk for det:) Kjempeglad i dere!På torsdag kommer jeg på besøk, da har både jeg og Benedikte bursdag!!

Avslutning av fattigskolen

Som de fleste har fått med seg har jeg jobbet på fattigskolen siden nyttår. Det er en skole som blir drevet av frivillige lærere gjonneom FLM, altså Fiangonana Lotherana Malagasy som er den gassiske statskirken. Det er tre gassiske lærere og Laila Razakandriana som er faste lærere + meg da. På bildet over ser dere meg i aksjon, ser jeg ut som en misjonær eller, hehe:)
Disse bildene er fra avslutningen, den ble holdt for snart to uker siden, da var Laila allerede i Norge. Da hadde vi besøk av Sindre, Anne Lise Heggø fra fredskorpset og hennes far, Odd. Snille Odd kjøpte ris og stearinglys til alle barna! Jeg hadde i tilleg kjøpt lykter til dem, slike lykter som de bruker på nasjonaldagen. Dere kan tro det var mange glade barn den dagen! For å gjøre dagen enda bedre fikk jeg med meg alle ungene ut og satte i gang lek. Det var veldig populært og alle ble med. Det er ikke noe vi gjør så ofte, så de ble veldig glade.

Jeg er jo ikke så stødig i gassisk, så jeg har ikke undervisning på skolen. Jeg er mer som en hjelpelærer som deler ut ark, limer og går rundt og snakker med ungene. Jeg føler meg litt som klovnene som får ungene til å le, men jeg tror det er det jeg er god på, hehe. Jeg sitter som regel og lager grimaser og sprer litt latter. De er ikke vant til voksne hvitinger som oppfører seg som en unge, trenger kanskje ikke å si at jeg er veldig populær, hehe. Som sagt ble det mye lek den dagen og da blir det ofte litt knall og fall. Da må en trøste. Jeg synes bildet er litt koselig, visste ikke at det ble tatt jeg.
Det har vært utolig fint å jobbe på fattigskolen. Jeg føler virkelig at jeg har fått kontakt med ungene og de som jobber der. Det var noe av det verste med å reise fra Mad, det å reise fra alle ungene. Før jeg skulle dra kom ei av de største jente bort til meg og sa. "Kristin, du kan ikke reise! Barna gråter fordi du reiser, du kan ikke!". Mange av elevne var veldig skeptiske til meg da jeg kom, noen var redde til og med. Men nå, etter at jeg har vært med dem har jeg sett at de har blitt tryggere og mer åpne. Mange skal sitte i fanget og det er krangling om hvem som skal holde meg i hånda. Jeg har lært mye av disse ungene, jeg håper virkelig at jeg får komme tilbake til dem om ikke så alt for lenge.

Home, sweet home!

Så var jeg tilbake hjemme i Lyngdal. Det var med tunge skritt jeg gikk ut av flyet i går natt og plantet bena på norsk jord. Det var da sommervinden og lukten traff meg at det gikk opp for meg at jeg var reist fra Madagaskar, da ble jeg helt skjelven. Men, ting ble mye lysere da jeg kom ut og fikk se familie og venner som ventet med norske flagg, blomster og melkesjokolade:) Det var jo utrolig deilig å se alle igjen, det er jo ingenting som sommer på sørlandet, hehe!

BUHUUUU!!!!

Saa var dagen her, eller den var der i gaar.... Jeg er paa vei hjem! Naa sitter jeg paa en fantastisk overpriset internett ting paa flyplassen i Amsterdam. Her skal jeg vaere de neste fem timene og unnet meg derfor en 30 minutters adgang til verden. Det er helt forferdelig aa dra herfa! Jeg kan ikke beskrive det en ting er aa forlate alle vennene jeg har faatt, men det saa mye mer jeg forlater. Det er en jobb jeg elsker, en levemaate jeg aldri vil faa i norge, en folk som har tatt imot meg med aapne armer +++++ Jeg trenger vel ikke aa utdype saa veldig at jeg graat en del da jeg dro, hihi. Det ble maaange taarer, klemmer og deling av haap om aa sees igjen om ikke saa alt for lenge.

Den siste uka mi i Antsirabe skulle bli en rolig uke, skulle ha god tid til pakking og gjoere ting en siste gang. Det gikk ikke saa bra.. Jeg har stressa som en gal for aa faa baggasjen klar of huset halvei toemt for alle mulige ting som ikke skulle bli med. Men, det har vaer gost aa stresse. Det fordi jeg har hver dag vaer med folk som vil si adjoe, som vil savne meg og som jeg har blitt utrolig glad i. Derfor gjoer det ikke noe at jeg naa sitter her doedsliten, det har vaer en fantastisk avsluitniong paa en enda mer fantastisk aar!!!!!!

Naa er den dyrebare tiden (bosktavelig talt) snart over, veldig kjipt! Tror jeg skal finne meg en benk som er litt behagelig aa slaa meg ned med snop og nyinnskjoept bok.

(Maa bare si at jeg er veldig veldig sliten naa, saa hvis det er setninger som dere bare ikke skjoenner saa beklager jeg (spes til deg Martha;) hehehe savner deg!)

Jeg lever!

Livet går opp og ned, ja, alt i livet gjør i grunnen det. Det gjelder også min innstats når det gjelder mailskriving og bloggskriving. Noen vil vel kanskje si at jeg har hatt flere dårlig perioder enn gode, men jeg må tilstå at dette har gått mye bedre enn forventet!
Tenkte bare jeg skulle ta noen "faktasetnigner" nedover, litt sånn om det jeg burde ha sagt for lenge siden:)

* Jeg skal jobbe i Brentford i London til neste år, bo hos en familie og få egen sykkel:)
* Vi har spillt in "Lemuria" på cd, kjempegøy! Jeg rapper, hihi!
* Jeg har pakket ned alle tingene mine og sendt dem med container, måtte skrive lange lister på fransk, herlig!
* Sang på den franske alliansen i dag, det var gøy. Skummelt, men moro:)
* Familien Johansen har resit, så nå er det ganske tomt her.
* jeg vil ikke hjem!!! buhuuu!!!
* Jeg jobber enda på fattigskolen, trives sååå godt!!!
* Var på shopping i Tana, bare en drøss med suvenirer, måtte jo fylle kvota i containeren!
* Savner enda kameraet mitt, men skal spare til sånnet ånkli ett når jeg kommer hjem.
* Sindre har mista mobilen igjen, og fått ny igjen.
* Jeg har levert inn stoff til tre kjoler, hihi, gleder meg!
* Skal i konfirmasjon sammen med sindre til vår venn Jana den 18 juni, det blir gøy.


Sånn, det var da litt og mer skal det bli, en annen dag:) Tuuusen takk til alle dere som gidder å lese alt det jeg skriver, ganske uvirkelig i grunnen.
